- Startup Garage is an intense two-part project-based course offered by the Graduate School of Business in the Fall and Winter quarters. Throughout the course, teams apply design thinking, lean startup methodologies, and the Business Model Canvas to conceive, design, and field-test a new venture using the Startup Garage Innovation Process. Students must apply in teams.

Summer Entrepreneurial Immersions (SEI) Info Session

- Any Stanford graduate student looking to explore entrepreneurship in Summer 2025 is invited to learn more about three immersion fellowships empowering students to work on their ventures with funding throughout the summer between their 1st and 2nd year of studies. The info session will cover:
- Botha Chan Innovation Program, by the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies
- Impact Design Immersion Fellowship, by the Center for Social Innovation
- Summer Eco-preneurial Immersion, a joint offering of the GSB and Stanford’s Doerr School of Sustainability.

- Lean Launchpad is a course that provides a real-world, hands-on learning experience on what it’s like to actually start a company. This class will teach you how to rigorously evaluate a business idea, apply the Lean Startup Methodology and maximize your chances of establishing product-market fit.
- Note: You will need at least one technical team member from the School of Engineering who can build and iterate on your MVP. You may apply in teams of four or five students. If you apply with four students, a fifth student may be added to your team after the final admission results are sent out.
- Note: This class is offered by the MS&E department. At least one member on your team must be a MS&E graduate or co-term student. If you cannot find one, you must apply with four team members only and one MS&E graduate or co-term student will be added to your team after the final admission results.
- It is recommended that you attend an upcoming info session (October 24 6:30pm, October 28 6:30pm, or November 4 6:30pm) to learn more about the course and attend office hours to workshop your idea/application with the teaching team before applying.
Stanford Emergence Accelerator Program

- Preference for graduate level student, but will accept applications form highly qualified undergraduate students
- Awarded applicants will be notified by December 15
- The Emergence Accelerator Program is intended for students across disciplines who are working towards impact driven ventures that address systemic drivers of health including structural, social, and environmental factors. (e.g. food security and diet, housing, education, access to healthcare, climate impact on health, etc)

- The Llama Impact Grant is looking to source innovative use cases of Llama (open-source AI model) to address critical global challenges in areas like education, the environment, and open innovation.

NewSchools Venture Fund – 2025 Funding Opportunity

- NewSchools is offering one-year, unrestricted grants ranging from $150,000 to $250,000 and customized support to support four learning visions:
- Innovative Schools | creating schools that develop strong academic foundations and life skills
- Learning Solutions | providing tools, content, and models focused on K-8 foundational literacy and numeracy
- Teaching Reimagined | redesigning the teacher role and incorporating new technologies
- Learning Differences | enhancing teaching and learning for students with diagnosed or undiagnosed disabilities
- NewSchools is a venture philanthropy that builds a better education system by connecting people, resources, and ideas
America’s Seed Fund, powered by the National Science Foundation
- Rolling submission for project pitches. Projects that seem to be a good fit will be officially invited to submit a full proposal for funding
- Up to $305,000 in Phase I funding, up to $1,250,000 in Phase II funding (only eligible to companies that have completed Phase I)
